What a special week we had at Tara and Fred’s little slice of heaven! A quick 10 minute drive to our favorite mountain Calabogie, where we would ski all day while looking forward to arriving back to the beautiful cottage with a well appointed kitchen, huge dining area and super comfy beds. The kids enjoyed games and ping pong in the cozy basement and loved the built in bunk beds - so fun! 🤩 The upper level bedrooms and ensuites are huge and this house has everything you could want for relaxing stay. Tara and Fred were very accommodating and responsive and couldn’t have been better hosts. We are looking forward to making this our annual family ski trip stay and are even thinking about trying a summer stay in order to enjoy the gorgeous lake. Thanks for a 5 star stay! 😍

Tara and Fred were great hosts. It is an extremely beautiful place and very comfortable and cozy. Tara was always responsive to any questions I had and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and calm surrounding type place to have a wonderful thanksgiving family getaway.

This was our second stay at the cottage, first time was in the winter, this time was summer. The lake was so quiet and peaceful. We spent the majority of the time playing on the beach and swimming. We enjoyed using the canoe and kayak, relaxing in the hammock, and having camp fires. The cottage is very clean and spacious, with everything we need. Tara is very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay at the Beach Water Front Lake House! This spacious and inviting home is very private and quiet, surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from everything. The house is very well equipped, everything we needed was there! The kitchen is beautiful and very practical! The island in the middle was just perfect for cooking and chatting with each other. Our kids enjoyed the clear and gorgeous lake; they built sand castles and had a blast swimming and kayaking. The hosts were extremely gracious, very responsive and they made sure everything is well so we can enjoy our stay. We did indeed enjoy our stay! Thank you Tara&Fred! Also, the mosquitoes magnet worked wonders! We were able to enjoy the outdoors without having to donate our blood to the vicious and hungry mosquitos.
