The automated check-in was straightforward. The room was clean and functional. I would guess that the room had been repainted and had new furnishings recently, probably after the flood a couple of years ago. Some basic amenities and cereal for breakfast were welcome and free of charge. The only negative was the 24/7 road noise, especially from large B double trucks, on the highway, made worse by some potholes in the road. Some ear plugs would have reduced the level of noise if I had thought to put some in my bag.

Our stay was fine. We weren't able to pre-check in with the sms-provided link for an unknown reason, which had some flow on effects. They book rooms both between airbnb and their own site, which sounds like it makes it very difficult for them to navigate both systems and they are very unenthusiastic about airbnb, so we copped a bit of the frustration in our correspondence with, Helen. We had booked through airbnb and included 2 infants in our bookin, which was to Helen's dissatisfaction because it increased the number of people in the room without her knowing, apparently. She was very frustrated by this. I think the reason was she would have preferred us to be in a bigger room or perhaps purchase two rooms, but was fully booked that night. The photos on airbnb aren't necessarily the room you'll be staying in,importantly,so you can contact her prior to discuss the booking. We therefore had some further hiccups, having to contact her again to dispense the room key. Otherwise the stay was great. Conveniently located for our trip, clean, small breakfast fixings great for the kids and an EV charger. Other than the check-in dissatisfactions, it was a economical stay.

We had a great stay here on our way to Mildura. The local swimming hole is fantastic. The check-in was easy, beds were very comfortable and it’s right on the river and near a lovely local pub.
