Lovely to find breakfast groceries provided following a (planned) late arrival. Excellent range of electrical goods in kitchen/utility and accommodation as per advert. We particularly loved the proximity to the river and the aspect from the back of the house. We also greatly appreciated the effort made to contact us promptly to return an item we had forgotten to pack.
6 of us stayed in Marc's home and it was lovely. Had everything we needed. was spotless and plenty of towels etc. Marc sent a list of amenities around area, unfortunately we did not get to explore this time. Would definitely recommend Thank you again for all your help and messages.
Marcs cottage was exactly as described. We were greeted with a blazing fire and a fridge stocked with essentials for settling in which was much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable , bathrooms perfect with plenty of hot water at all times and house cozy and warm. The interior is a harmonious blend of traditional charm and modern. Pettigo is a beautiful town - you can see the past beauty of it when you walk around the town. Manis restaurant is a hidden gem and 5 mins walk. 10 min drive to Lough Derg and all that area offers. Its the perfect location to explore from. But the true highlight of the Stone Cottage is its proximity to the river. The beautiful sound of it flowing by is so relaxing and you could spend hours sitting in the kitchen watching it. If its a tranquil getaway you are looking for then this is the place for you!
Marc's place is a lovely place tight beside the gushing river, you'll hear it if you open the windows! There is a warm cosy fire and plenty of fuel was left for our stay. The rooms are neat and comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. Would recommend.
We had a fabulous stay in Marc’s house. The house was great, very cosy, clean and plenty of space. Five good size bedrooms and was a lovely house. Great base to explore the North-west. Pettigo is a lovely quiet village. Would definitely recommend and come back again. Had some lovely meals in Mani’s and would recommend. Had lunch in Riverside diner which has gym in the complex.
