Exactly as described. Perfect for visiting the Forest of Dean nearby. The skate park on site was a real standout.

We stayed in the flat at Camp Hillcrest for a night and it was great. The weather was also fantastic and we enjoyed an outside fire and the use of a large shelter with picnic benches which would also have been pretty cool if the weather wasn’t so nice. It is a very interesting place with a skatepark and crazy golf, animals, high nets and giant chess. My 10 yr old loved it and wants to go back again. The countryside is amazing with lots of fantastic footpaths and views in all directions. There is also a lovely pub in the nearest village with great food right next to an interesting castle. All in all a great weekend Thankyou very much!

We enjoyed a great value stay and were made to feel very welcome. The kids enjoyed all the animals, especially the friendly dogs! A peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful countryside. Would definitely stay again. Really appreciated the efforts of our host to make us feel welcome and the great breakfast on offer.
