Devonshire Estates campus consist of a 4 bedroom, 2,000 sq/ft spiritual retreat main home, setup to provide an atmosphere of serenity, introspection, prayer, as well as uninhibited heart-to-heart spiritual communication. Additionally, we hope you'll agree that our home exemplifies clean, quiet country living experience, with an enjoyable 'at-home' atmosphere. To add to our quiet ambience, we are located two (2) miles off of a hardened, well maintained dirt road. In short, Devonshire Estates campus is an older, ranch style home that purposely shows its age. However, we do have modern facilities and amenities such as city supplied hot and cold running water, and also soothing, natural, clean, and clear well water that is always available from two earth wells on site. And yes, we also have central heating and air conditioning, 2 full bathrooms which have been partially remodeled and fully functional, but also outdoor showers and bathrooms are available if desired. There is an in-ground swimming pool ... open seasonally during the warmer months of May through October. Our additional 2,400/2,500 sq/ft Activity Building is occasionally converted and arranged for sleeping, when requested for large or small church groups or ministry group usage, and only when individuals are not in residence. A separate rental fee is charged for the Activity Building. Preference is always given to individual residents reserving rooms in the main building/house. No exceptions even on weekends as we do not disturb in-house residents for weekend groups. Please note that parties and events are not allowed! Devonshire Estates eagerly welcomes those who simply want spiritual privacy time for fasting and prayer; for consecration or deep study ... seeking God for wisdom answers. We have donated publications to uplift, encourage, and enlighten guests. In addition, some reference volumes are provided. Rates: Entire home is $119 per night- October through March, and $175 per night; minimum 2 nights bookings. The maximum reservations/booking is 180 nights; reservations can be made up to one year in advance. Included are all common areas throughout the campus, a full kitchen, dining area, laundry room, pool use, and available Wi-Fi, a sun room/sun porch, and of course the small library. Cable TV is not available, however, you may bring your own NETFLIX/Disney plus, etc., subscriptions - Fire Stick/TV connections are available. Our home is located on ten (10) quiet acres with a seasonal babbling brook running through the property. We have set up walking trails and organized a self-paced bible-based scavenger hunt for additional outdoor spiritual encounters. In addition, on occasion wildlife such as deer, squirrels, rabbits, fox, and other small scurrying animals will pass through our property.
