Quick list: Pros- Close to universal Clean Easy to find Near a convenience store A/C works great Laundry available, but bring your own detergent and be cautious of bleach Cons- No hot or warm water, ever No jacuzzi as advertised Sparse communication at best, sent pre-typed messages but did not respond to questions in a timely manner Very thin walls Beds were not comfortable. The place was clean, easy to find, and close to Universal Studios. I would not stay again however because not once in the three days we were here was there any hot water: morning, afternoon, or evening. It was 80+ degrees Fahrenheit so I wasn’t looking to take a hot shower, but I also wasn’t trying to rinse off or wash in ice water every day. I understand limited hot water, but there was none at all at any time of day. The walls are very thin so bring earplugs. There is a 7-11 a block away which was very nice to get water and quick food at. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, but unfortunately the other guests were not. We are talking can hear exact conversations in the next room or hallways. The amenities were adequate. There is one pot, one pan, a kettle, and disposable utensils for the kitchen, and disposable towels and face cloths, single use toothpastes, hair dryer, and various bathroom supplies available for use which was all appreciated. The beds were not comfortable. The AC worked well. Part of the reason we booked here was to relax in the jacuzzi that was listed (as a rare find), only to find there was not one. When I asked about it, the question was not addressed. There was confusion about entry as the pdf says there is a lock box but the message said a door code. When I asked about this the day before we arrived I got a message the day after we arrived asking if we figured it out. We did, but wow. The frustrating part is we were messaged twice with pre-typed messages after I asked the questions. Overall it was okay. It could be a nice stay, but was not a great experience for us.
