Lockbox system works well; no need to carry a key and risk losing it. Spacious and bright. Well-equipped kitchen for those desiring to cook / eat at “home”; we travel for months at a time and appreciate extended breaks from restaurants. The large supermarkets (Pak ‘n Save and Countdown) are a short drive / Uber ride (too far to walk in my opinion). Fresh Choice City Market is a kilometer away with a decent grocery selection but prices are appreciably higher than those at the larger supermarkets. Les Mills gym (fully-equipped, spacious and offers both live and virtual group fitness classes with the price of admission) is also located about one kilometer away (approximately 15 minute walk). The relatively central location is within a short drive (and, in some cases “walk”) of the main parks (Hagley + Botanic Gardens), attractions such as the Tram + departure points for “punting” on the Avon river. Bike hire locations are also nearby. Would highly recommend + stay here again.

Great location, however I have to echo the previous reviews… metal gate for access to the compound very loud, no plug in the bathroom for a bath, bathroom vanity was quite dirty, brown stains along the work top and sink that just need cleaning. Managed by a letting agency who won’t give you access till you’ve paid a non refundable damage waiver, after that being the only option at check in I called the agency and they allowed me to charge a large hold on my credit card and refunded the damage waiver less credit card fees. Overall fine but far from 5 star as the rating suggests.

Great location! Short, peaceful walk into town/restaurants/shops. It is well appointed and well decorated townhouse. The garage is tiny. Do not expect to fit a regular size car in there, but street parking is accessible. As advertised the apartment is over the entry gate and it is a rather loud bang every time is it opened and closed. We were disappointed to find dirty glasses is the cupboard and only one old, used sponge to clean them with. No plug for the bath either which only affected is because we have small children. Overall, nice place to stay.
