Double Room Front greenery View Beautiful double bedroom that is spacious, airy with own ensuite and jungle views. Location is Midigama East. Access to communal kitchen, large dining area and all balconies. A tropical oasis awaits you. Sleeps 2 • 1 x Large King Size bed • Linen and towel provided • Large en-suite with hot water • Large window with view of jungle allowing lots of fresh air and good ventilation in. • Fan • Hanging space and drawers and shelving. The lovely family who own this villa occupy the ground floor. Should you need any help or advice they are only to happy to help you and you will be looked after like family . Tree Trail Villa has 7 rooms. Guests can book a private room or book a family room or book for a large group. Wifi available. Rooms and floors are listed below. First Floor consists of 4 spacious bedrooms all with large windows with views of the jungle . 3 of these rooms have their own en-suite and 1 room has a separate shower and toilet . All rooms have a fan and hot water . There is also a communal kitchen to make tea, coffee etc and your own snacks. As well as a large tiled area with dining room table and chairs . There is plenty of balcony areas with chairs and tables to sit and relax and take in the views of amazing lush green tropical jungle. One of the bedrooms is a deluxe bedroom with a luxurious bath tub in the en-suite. There is a communal kitchen and a chill out area for guests to use. Lots of balcony space with chairs and tables to relax and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Das Zimmer war total ordentlich und gemütlich. Chathura war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns einen Roller organisiert und wir durften unser Gepäck stehen lassen und auch nach der Checkout-Zeit noch duschen. Die Küche könnte etwas besser in Schuss sein, da hätten wir uns bessere Ausstattung und mehr Sauberkeit gewünscht. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft empfehlen.
Tout simplement fantastique ! L’emplacement est juste parfait. Chathu et son équipe sont vraiment aux petits soins, et sont soucieux que votre séjour soit le plus réussi possible. Nous recherchions une ambiance cool, à proximité des spots de surf mais loin de l’agitation et du bruit. Nous avons tellement apprécié, que nous avons modifié notre itinéraire au Sri Lanka, afin de pouvoir y revenir quelques jours avant notre départ !

Chatura’s place is wonderful. A family villa with a few rooms in the middle of the jungle. The location is great and quite, only 5 min walking to the beach but far enough from the noisy main road. We enjoyed the time a lot, Chatura is an amazing host and can help you with literally anything ! We would definitely come back one day.
Staying at Chathu’s villa was a great pleasure. The villa is in the good condition and has lots of common space. Rooms are cozy and has everything you need. The rooftop has fantastic view around jungles, where you can see monkeys, squirrels, mangusts and even a wild pikok! The villa is 7 mi walk to the ocean by the beautiful jungle road. Close to the nice restaurants, surf shops, wild beach and a surf spot for intermediate surfers. Ideal if you have a bike, but not having it is also not a problem. Chathu is super friendly and the most hospitable person we met. He does a lot for his guests, and we were super happy to meet him. We were also lucky with the people at the villa and made new friends. It’s easy when you have dinner at one table with all the habitats and can talk to people. Again, great stay! Highly recommended.

Our villa is located in Midigama a small surfing and fishing village. As you walk along the trail to our villa, you will pass friendly locals and you will experience a more authentic experience when staying with us yet have all the comforts you need. Tree Trail Villa has a unique location. It is surrounded by jungle and coconut trees and nature. The Tree Trail Villa is only a short stroll to the beautiful beaches of Midigama. You have all the best surf breaks in walking distance . We also have our Family run kitchen Plantation Surf Inn Restaurant which serves delicious meals which is also a short stroll from the Tree Trail Villa. We are open all day for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as serving a variety of drinks and snacks. During peak season our restaurant gets very busy so if you decide to dine with us in the evening we ask our guests to book a table before 4pm to avoid disappointment.
We can organise your airport transfers if you require pick up and or drop off. We use very safe, friendly and professional drivers. You can transport you boards and luggage with you. We offer fair prices and rates depend on how many people in a car or van. For example one person travelling will be more expensive than a share car with 3 or 4. We have our safe and friendly tuk tuk drivers we recommend for you or you can hire a scooter to get around the wonderful south coast beaches . If you need advice on using the local trains and buses just ask us. There are some great local walks to be discovered around the Midigama.

Ayubowan! I like to meet friendly people and welcome them as my family members. I'm a Buddhist and believe in karma, therefore I always try to take the most positive actions for me, and those around me. Everybody is welcome in my family guesthouse and I always want my guests to feel comfortable and at home. I like to show people the Sri Lankan way of life and give my visitors a sense of our history and inform them of the attractions Sri Lanka has to offer. I am not a good surfer but I love surfing, it is my one of favorite things to do. I also like playing cricket and Carrom (a local board game), reading surf and sport magazines, as well as watching movies. I like to eat Sri Lankan food (it’s my favorite!) especially rice and curry, string hoppers, pittu with sambol etc. I enjoy cultivating a good relationship with every guest because it makes everyone’s stay so much more enjoyable. My experience so far is that people love staying at my place so much that they often become quite emotional when they have to leave, this is a wonderful compliment for me and I always find it hard to say goodbye to my guests. All I ask of my guests is that they respect my family home and treat it as they would treat their own houses, keeping it clean and being respectful of other guests and family members. I have never travelled outside Sri Lanka. One day I hope to travel internationally but it is not easy to achieve this as a Sri Lankan. I hope my hard work will pay off and, like you, I will get to see some of the world. As my business grows I can feel my goal coming closer, every guest I have is assisting me in reaching my target, and as well as that I feel they are bringing the world to me. Each guest is unique and brings their own accent, customs, and views on life. This is something which brings me great joy and fuels my desire to travel. Across the street from our place are four surf breaks, Lazy Left, Ram’s Right, Plantation, and Coconut. You can surf some of the best waves in Sri Lanka and come home to great cooking.
