A unique and lovely place to stay for B&B. Bernie’s amazing home cooked breakfasts (and evening meal on request) were only surpassed by watching the donkeys, goats, sheep and hens from the kitchen window in the mornings! Bernie and Alex’s home is set in a wonderful part of the countryside and I (and my dog) thoroughly recommend the circular walk past the church and through the grounds of the vineyard. Bernie provides a very helpful folder of local knowledge and walks, etc. Frankie and I really enjoyed our stay - thank you.
Bernie. You have gone way above & beyond our expectations. Your breakfasts were superb & evening meals were to die for especially after a full day of sightseeing. Was so lovely to return at the end of the day & be waited on. Will recommend you to our friends/family back home in Australia.
We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was very clean and contained everything we needed. It was great to have a wood burner to light and sit in front of in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. We loved watching the donkeys and goats through the kitchen window. The location is peaceful and relaxing with places to walk right from the house. Would definitely recommend.
Had the most enjoyable weekend staying at Meerkat Manor not far from the Malvern Hills and the 3 Counties Show Ground. A lovely quiet location, Bernie has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. She has even provided cushions and blanket should you wish to sit outside in the private terrace area with fine views of the countryside and her gorgeous rescue animals. An ample breakfast selection is included, beautifully delivered in a picnic basket each morning .Sooo much choice ! Our favourite was Bernie's scrambled eggs, so tasty made with her own free range eggs. It really set us up for our busy days exploring. Packed lunches and evening meals (lots of choice again!) are also available to order. We shall return to the area in the future and thoroughly recommend a stay here.
A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of rural England. Bernie and Alex are lovely people and extremely accommodating. As we stayed for New Year, the Christmas tree was a nice touch. Bernie is an amazing cook so I would highly recommend an evening meal.

Hello and Welcome (Website hidden by Airbnb) To our safe haven of peace and tranquility, Bernie & Alex Originally born & bred in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, I led a normal hectic life running a busy home of husband, 3 older children, 1 granddaughter, 3 pets, extended family while being a senior leader in a Primary school. In May 2017, due to health, I came to Coddington to recover, finding the peace and solitude I desperately needed and over time it became my safe haven. I moved permanently here August 2017 to live with my partner Alex and be a part of this beautiful and endearing lifestyle. After spending some months as a home carer for the elderly, I found home was where I needed to permanently be, so with the full support of Alex, the dream of working from home was created. To be able to stay in my safe place, caring for our animal family of 2 Rescue donkeys, 4 dogs, 8 Cats, 30 Rescue Hens, 1 Cockerel, 2 Miniature Sheep, 2 Pygmy Goats & 16 Ducks, while tending our home & garden, running our B&B, unique solitary lodge and Tea Garden, while also pursuing my passion for cooking is my ultimate accomplished goal. I now extend that experience to the guests of ‘Meerkat Manor’ ‘Hedgehog Lodge’ and welcome you to our retreat. Bernie x
