This is a gem of a stay. Rancho Grande is a magical place. There are numerous friendly animals to feed and spend time with, including Albert the camel who is a sweetheart. There’s no shortage of activities to do and the amenities in the commercial grade kitchen make it easy to whip up meals. We have two kids, ages 8 and 10, and have already been asking us to put Rancho Grande on our yearly trip list. Thank you Richard and Alex!

A place you want to visit in your lifetime! Special, unique, and magical! The way life should be! Set in the middle of the mountain ranges is spectacular, views as far as your eyes can see. So much fun to hike, explore the three ponds and visit with all the animals. A huge variety of games to play and areas to explore. Gigantic kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Along with kayaks, stand ups, and a boat to tool around the pond in. Can't wait to go back up and bring my whole family. A once in a lifetime experience, that I'll get to do again. 😊

This was our 2nd time on the property, 1st time staying over. It’s awesome to see how much Rancho Grande has grown since 2020. We truly enjoyed our visit. Fish Camp was ideal walking distance for my 9y and 6y to the fishing dock, hammocks, bathrooms, kitchen/campfire area, we loved it. The Gator took us all around the property, we were able to explore the baseball field, covered wagons, areas the alpacas and sheep were grazing in, and so much more. Highlights of the trip included roasting s’mores and stargazing with newly made friends — we were able to see Jupiter briefly thanks to Alex, and the kids roamed around freely in the dark. We learned how to hold and care for guinea pigs with Linda, were introduced to the very pampered pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks, and Albert, the very lucky camel. My favorite part of it all was being able to be mostly off the grid and spend quality time in nature with my family. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Fish Camp yurt and are already planning on coming back with more family members are renting all the lodging. The place was the perfect combination on ‘roughing it’s but with impeccably maintained accommodations.
