We had a lovely 3 night stay here in the lovely town of Mosta. John was a great host and his home was perfect for our stay, only 5 mins walk from the bus services to take you around the whole island. Our room and separate shower room were immaculately clean. We had full use of the kitchen and lovely touches like coffee, tea, milk, bread and marmalade were provided so we could enjoy a nice breakfast in the cute courtyard each morning. Most days we felt we had the house to ourselves but we knew that John was available should we need him. We highly recommend Rabat, Mdina, Marsaxlokk, & Marsaskala for less touristy days out. Valletta was great to visit but very touristy but St John’s Cathedral and the canon firing a must see. In Mosta, we loved City bar for drinks and a great local atmosphere (and free tapas), Ta Marija for lovely local food and folk dancing Wednesday and Fridays. We were so pleased we chose John’s place as we felt we were able to enjoy a real Maltese experience!

If I return to Malta, I wouldn’t even look for another place — I’d come back to stay with John. We started our stay at the kitchen table over espresso and photographs (and if you like storytellers, you’re in for a treat, because John tells excellent stories). His home is rich with history and culture, every corner as beautiful as the last — we felt so comfortable and inspired here. John even keeps some basics in the fridge for guests (jam, bread, butter, milk, as well as coffee and tea), which we really appreciated. The location is nice as well, very walkable to the Mosta Rotunda. I loved our stay with him, it’s one I’ll cherish forever. Thank you John, you will always be warmly remembered when I think of Malta!

Uroczy dom o lokalnym klimacie w spokojnej okolicy. W środku, szczególnie w sypialniach, można się poczuć jak na zamku, ale nie takim z Disneya, a takim z historią. Poza tym kuchnia i łazienka w pełni wyposażone, wygodne i dostępne. Bardzo blisko Rotundy w Moście, którą nawiasem mówiąc, warto odwiedzić i przystanków autobusowych, które zabrały nas w inne części wyspy.

John est un hôte très agréable au petit soin nous sommes arrivés tardivement et John nous attendait il nous a fait visiter son logement, donner toutes les explications utiles. Sa maison familiale est très agréable et atypique tout en pierre . La literie est de bonne qualité et la salle de bain impeccable. John avait même prévu le petit déjeuner pour nous , rien ne manquait, café, pain, beurre, marmelade Merci beaucoup, nous nous sommes sortis comme à la maison . Je recommande

We really enjoyed every day. The combination of John and his home is perfect for us and we fell in love somehow. From the house you walk 2 minutes to the Centre with the church and some nice cafes and with the car you reach almost all sights in about 20 minutes. The courtyard is amazing. I could write and endless review, so I’ll just recommend to go there and check it out yourself ! ;)
