We loved staying at Kathleen’s. I really felt at home. It’s small but cute and functional. I’ve been to many AirBnBs and many use cheap material to build and supply theirs with but with Kathleen’s I felt like she used and filled the place with things that she would actually use and likes herself. She was very accommodating with a personal request and we had no issues with our dogs. They felt right at home as well. Overall, it was a great find for us, especially last minute trying to find somewhere to stay to experience the solar eclipse. She did not price gouge, which many did for this event in the area. Great home, clean and comfortable, great communication, glad we found it.

This place and the area is quintessential, funky, quirky Austin! The space is really cute, comfortable and well appointed. It was private and peaceful. I would definitely stay there again!

Every thing about the place was great as a base for visiting friends in Austin. I really appreciated the kitchen was well supplied with the right kind of basics so cooking was easy: Mixing bowls of various sizes, 3-4 basic knives (chef, bread, pairing), the right mix of pots and pans, even some baking dishes.

Kathleen is very hospitable. I appreciated her calm nature and helpfulness. If I could, I would stay longer and if the need ever arises again, I will definitely be back. The place is a gem and the owners are quality people.
