We had such a brilliant week; sunshine every day and a beautiful clean undiscovered beach on the doorstep. Curlews in abundance. Very pretty quay. A short walk through some woods to logan botanic garden with teashop and Gulf Stream tropical plants. The cottage was perfect, the welcome pack was generous and thoughtful, our hosts kind and attentive and terrain easy for cycling. We had a day out at mull of Galloway, a short pedal away. A holiday to remember. We will return

We all absolutely loved our stay at Curlew Cottage. The house was clean and spacious, and couldn't be any closer to the beach. Port Logan is amazing, so quiet and utterly beautiful. We hope to return.

It's a lovely wee house in a lovely part of the world. Port Logan is pretty much the beach which is a minute's walk away. As a village it's just a collection of houses. If you want a pub, shops, a cafe, then you need to drive. If you want a peaceful place to relax and unwind then house and the place are ideal. I've taken off a star because it's quite a small place. If you're taking a dog or dogs, then it gets even smaller. We did ask when booking if it was ok to bring our two Labradors, but they found the place small and didn't settle.
