Our hot tub lodges sleep up to four, with one double and one twin room. They are dog-friendly too. The lodges are cosy, spacious and luxurious, featuring central heating, shower, and well-equipped kitchens with dishwasher and washing machine. Your hot tub is situated directly outside your lodge and for your use only. The water heated to a toasty 41 degrees. These lovely lodges offer views across Machrihanish Golf Club, to Islay and the Paps of Jura from the hot tub and outdoor seating area. The kitchen comprises of a 4 ring gas hob and gas oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer. The lounge has a 32 inch hi definition TV with free view digital channels and Blue-ray player. Bedding, Towels, Gas and electric are included.

Great accommodation close to beaches and golf. Recommended.
We stayed over New Year, caravan was beautiful with all modern furnishings, double doors that lead out to the patio that holds the hot tub which is cleaned throughout the day by site staff. The king size bed is a welcome bonus very comfortable, the two bathrooms and and Showers are great convenience. Views over looking the golf, course and Seaside. The local town is less than 10 minutes in the car, but there are pubs nearby within walking distance. There’s Wi-Fi only at reception, but we had no problems using Vodafone the hotspot to the TV for Netflix etc. We’re already planning our next day in the summer.
Despite the rainy weekend we definitely enjoyed our stay at Machrihanish. The property was spotlessly clean and it was the perfect size for a couple (+ our two dogs). The bed was nice and comfy and I really liked the lounge setup - perfect for watching films and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you needed and plenty of storage which was great. It was very nice having the hot tub where you could listen to the sound of the ocean while relaxing. There is a restaurant and pub about a 10 minute walk away and a stunning and quiet beach nearby. Campbeltown is about a 10-15 minute drive away which was nice. We had to reach out to get the check in details on the day but Ewen was very quick to respond and we didn't have any issues finding the holiday park. I would definitely recommend the property for a couple's getaway or a trip with kids as there is a second (but small!) bedroom. There are also 2 bathrooms which we didn't expect. A very nice stay :)

Machrihanish Holiday Park is a 10 minute walk to Machrihanish Golf club, Machrihanish Beach, The Old Club House Pub, The Ugadale Hotel which houses the Kintyre Bar And Restaurant.
If you walk through the village you will come to an area known as The Gauldrons and the Machrihanish Seabirds Observatory.
By Car
We are approximately three hours’ drive from Glasgow. The most direct route is by the A82 to Tarbet on Loch Lomond, then the A83 via Inverary and Lochgilphead.
By Ferry
There is a seasonal ferry service that operates between Ardrossan and Campbeltown throughout the season from the 28th of April - 25th of September follow the link to the Calmac website below for information on timetables and prices. There is also a ferry service from Ardrossan in Ayrshire to Brodick in Arran that takes approximately 50 minutes. From here, drive to Lochranza and board the seasonal ferry that runs to Claonaig on the Kintyre peninsula. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. There are also ferry links from Gourock to Dunoon and Portavadie to Tarbert. A passenger ferry also operates between Campbeltown and Ballycastle in Northern Ireland.
By Bus
There are four daily services departing from Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow between the hours of 9:15am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. On weekends there are five services departing from 6:35am until 6:00pm. Journey time is approximately 4 hours 15 minutes. For more information and reservations, please look at the Citylink website. There is a regular service from Campbeltown to Machrihanish from 7.15am to 10.15pm, Monday to Saturday. For more information, please see Westcoast Motors Campbeltown to Machrihanish Timetable.
By Bike
National Cycle Network Route 78 runs to Campbeltown with a pleasant 5-mile cycle from Campbeltown to Machrihanish thereafter.
By Foot
Machrihanish is on the Kintyre Way which runs from Tarbert to Machrihanish.
By Air
Flybe operate flights from Glasgow to Campbeltown Monday to Friday. The flight takes around 40 minutes and arrives in Machrihanish Airport.
