Lovely, cosy , private cottage close to Los Poblanos, FlyingStar, and Rio Grande nature park. Comfy bed, full kitchen, great heating. Mark was very responsive to my few questions. It was a great stay! Hope to be back.

Mark and Jean are nothing short of great. I had an extended 5 week stay at their cute little ranch guest house and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Very homey, clean and rustic at the same time. Just lovely. We had wine and conversation one evening and let me tell you that they know their history of the area and had a long list of things to do and great restaurants to visit. I already told them if I come back for an extended work visit again and their place is available, I’m booking it! Great shower, drip and espresso coffee makers, washer/dryer combo unit, INSTANT hot water that never ran out and clean tasting filtered drinking water. Nice mini fridge and stove/cooktop unit. Tv mounted near the be but with the articulating arm, it was viewable from many angles. Lastly, I loved the cute gas fireplace/furnace in the corner. Thanks Mark and Jean!

Mark’s place is very special. It is a true NM Casita. Perfect size for 1-2 people, on a walking path that is linked with miles and miles of others. The casita itself is so cozy. The gallery kitchen is all you need. Gas stove and the appropriate pans. (Likely and hopefully, you are eating out because NM food is unique and special.) The bed was very comfortable and the linens top shelf. And/but for me, it is the quietness, seclusion and yet so close to downtown that makes it awesome!
