Was assigned the Mirror room aka kinky sex dungeon. Subfloor/downstairs/no windows Red themed, elaborate Full length mirrors everywhere, including the ceiling! Only ceiling light is above the headboard aimed at the bed No pics of this room on the website Still, great house and experience overall, would book again and hope for a different room, something less 50 Shades vibe.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay with David and Sandy! From Sandy's generous breakfasts to David's stunning artwork, we felt right at home in their fairytale-like setting tucked into the mountains with a breathtaking view of Lake Coeur d'Alene! Just minutes from town, the road leading to the house was easy driving for as secluded as it was, even in a small rear-wheel-drive car and even at night. We weren't inconvenienced at all with the shared bathrooms because of the way it was laid out, with everyone having their own space in the bathroom. Do not let this deter you from staying here! Sandy goes out of her way to accommodate food allergies and preferences at breakfast and is full of knowledge about the local area as well as wisdom about life. The home is incredibly well-maintained inside and outside. So much care and love have gone into this home and the experience they create as they share it. I cannot recommend Coeur d' Lion enough for families, solo travelers, or couples! We are already planning a trip back.
This place is an excellent launchpad to check out Coeur d'Alene (and Sandpoint, where we took a day trip). The daily gourmet breakfast was exquisite; the views from the deck were spectacular. The house is filled with predominantly religious art and we graciously got to meet the artist who walked us through several pieces. Lauren provided us with recommendations that made our first day in Coeur d'Alene out of this world. I would recommend the lake boat tour.

We love being a Host for Airbnb! David and I both work as artists. I traveled around the US working as a photographer and makeup artist for the modeling and talent industry. I also worked as an actor, model, musician and singer. I play 8 instruments, but piano and guitar are my true loves. I now work for a Health and Wellness Company so I make sure our home is free of harmful toxins! I am a mom to 4 boys who have all left the nest, married to a handsome artist named David, LOVE theatre and am pretty easy to get along with. You can see some of my work on that famous social networking site. I am listed as Sandy Hardin Clemons. My company moto is "Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will succeed" so that tells you a bit about my life beliefs. My husband David Clemons is a working artist so our home is filled with his original art. He did have an art gallery at one time but we've moved that gallery to our home. So all the art you see is for sale. For those aspiring artists, David opens his studio for an impromptu art lesson if you're up to the adventure!
