Samen met 6 vrienden hebben wij een weekend in het huis van Olivier doorgebracht. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen en we kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding door het huis en uitleg van hoe alles werkt. Verder kregen we ook tips over dichtstbijzijnde supermarkten en een leuk restaurant waar we naartoe konden. Het huis ligt in een klein dorp op het platteland en is dus de ideale plek om een rustig weekend door te brengen zonder te veel programma’s. Al met al is het huis zeker een aanrader !

We recently stayed a few days at Olivier’s place while visiting the area for our son’s wedding held at a nearby venue. We had great communication with Olivier during the booking process and throughout our stay. Olivier was kind enough to book us a tour at a local Champagne cave (highly recommended). Olivier’s associate Carlos provided a thorough orientation at check-in. We found the neighborhood to be quiet and safe. The home itself is spacious and well equipped as it is the host’s personal home. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen as well as access to the washer (dryer not operating so drying racks provided). We often used the spacious patio and even used the kettle grill. As others have stated, the patio is located at the front of home and does overlook the road (occasional passing car was not a big deal to us). If you are looking for a roomy place with beaucoup authentic French country charm in a lovely and historical setting, this is the place for you!

I can’t express how wonderful our 3-night stay at Olivier’s rental home was. It was a very special and beautiful time and the home exceeds expectations. Our rental car was a must, location-wise, and that was a great move as the area is beautiful to explore on car, foot, bicycle, etc. depending on what you’re looking for/to do. The home is as pictured and more, it is private, and Olivier was an extremely communicative, generous, and helpful host. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever! This truly was one of the best home rentals I have ever experienced. What a pleasure!!! 🙌 We will DEFINITELY be back!!! (next time for longer, I certainly hope).
