Fantastic stay lake Isabella and Kern River was beautiful my fault for not looking up for a trail of 100 Giants being closed for then spring. That’s the main reason why we went but still had a fantastic stay. Johnny and his cohost was very informative and helpful. Give me excellent recommendations in the area. One thing I just wish that was listed that it was a duplex, but we had neighbors and could barely hear them. overall would love to stay here again. Very accommodating for my dogs too Do not take Caliente Bodfish Road in the winter. Google maps screwed us over on that take the 178 which is a lot safer. Luckily I got four-wheel-drive and did not get stuck on the mountain.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and is the perfect getaway from the business of city life. The view is EXACTLY like the photo and is stunning in person. It is walking distance to the lake and has stores and restaurants not too far. Johnny was very quick to respond, had super clear and helpful instructions, and even recommended things to do in the area! The place has both a front yard and a back yard and is dog friendly, I would just be mindful of the plants! It looks like there are some foxtails growing, so just keep a lookout for where your pups step. Overall, the stay was perfect. We had a great time exploring the area and soaking up the mountain and lake views. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this stay to others!
