We enjoyed our time there. wonderful view of the ocean from the living room patio. The building is under some construction and is old, but it looks like they are updating the outside slowly. The unit has a beach feel for sure - rustic feel, and is weathered due to the climate, however it was clean. No air- conditioning so it might be a problem in summer. We ran fans at night. That said, a good price. The unit had what we needed, and we enjoyed ourselves.

We loved Ed’s place. Perfect for a family of 4. Lots of great gear to enjoy the beach with! We saw turtles and lots of fish snorkelling.

Es ist eine schöne Wohnung mit tollen Strandsachen für die Kinder (Schaufeln, Bodyguards, Strandstühle). Die Terrassenmöbel stehen immer im Regen und sind schon ein bisschen verdreckt, aber es ist eine schöne Terrasse. Die Schlafcouch ist leider unbequem und der Kühlschrank macht sehr lauter Geräusche.

Tiki Time has a perfect location. Loved the two lanais. Great views of the ocean and sunrise. Loved waking with the ocean view from the bedroom. Adult Daughters slept on the pull out sofa couch with the sounds of the night waves. Host provided plenty of beach chairs, wagon, snorkel gear, floats, towels and amenities. Double sliders allowed perfect breeze. Fan’s available for bedroom. No desire for AC. Home offers all you need for home away from home. Side Lanai and appliances could use a little more love as the climate has taken a small toll on them. Loved the privacy of the location of Tiki Time in the building. We were able to swim with sea turtles, see them sleeping on the beach after dark and at sunrise. Snorkeled, relaxed in the sun. Used the beach umbrella when the sun was too hot, found beautiful beach glass. Enjoyed Coconut Joes smoothies, Kaya’s market, Polynesian center, north shore, drove to tip of west Oahu and saw whales in the distance. 10/10 stay. Would stay again!

We love being right at the ocean - we even got to see a honu - up close - on our walk along the adjacent beach! After a late check-in, I woke the next morning and gasped at the beautiful green mountains when I stepped out of the unit. I've seen green mountains but these mountains take GREEN at a whole new level!! The building is very old and the effects of the salt from the sea and the moisture of the area is reflected both in the unit and the building as a whole. A friend who lives in Hauula says "cannot help that". First night was quite windy and rainy and we were cold from the very thin bedding with no additional blankets available to use. I imagine we could've asked for a blanket from the host but my SIL provided us with one and we were very comfortable thereafter. In summary, this place is wonderful if you want a quiet time with a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and Waikiki. A visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center is a MUST while you're there!!
