Panoramic mansion on the top of a small hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves! Our villa is divided into 4 apartments. Each apt has separate entrance and private garden! This apartment is on the ground floor of our villa with direct access from its own private garden. The big Pool area, veranda and Parking, they are to be shared with the other eventual guests of our property. The place is very relaxing, quite and super safe! The ideal location to discover all parts of Tuscany! WIFI The Apartment (60 square meters) is on the ground floor of the property and it independent entrance directly by its private garden equipped with table, chair and a romantic pergola! Fast Wifi and TV Sat, mosquito nets! In the apartment you'll find: - a living area (which faces on your private garden) with comfortable Sofa, a Table, TV SAT and an authentic Tuscan style kitchen (Fridge, freezer, Oven, Dishwasher.. a small sink.. plates, dishes and cutlery and all you will need to prepare and eat your meals). - 2 Bedrooms (One Double with queen size bed and One Twin with 2 single beds) - A Bathroom with Shower, Washbasin, WC and Bidet. - In your private garden you'll find a Gazebo and a table with chairs, ideal for your al fresco dinner or breakfast! This apartment is the perfect spot for a family relaxed vacation. Also we can provide you a baby cot and high chair in case you have a baby with you :) Please let us know at the moment of the reservation! Always at your disposal in the Common areas: - Our parking area just next to the main gate of the villa - A big panoramic Pool (About 13 x 4 meters). Here you'll find sun beds and sun umbrellas, a shower, and also a nice pergola! (POOL is Open from 1st May to 30th September) - A Laundry with Washing Machine and Dryer Machine too! - Free WiFi 24hours 7days In the apartment there is no Air Conditioning but we can guarantee you that thanks to the very big stone walls of the entire villa and its apartments always you will feel very comfortable! All the apartments are very airy and fresh!

Dejligt, smukt og roligt område ude på landet. Paolo og Barbara er dejlige og service mindede værter. Vores lejlighed havde smuk udsigt over landskabet fra værelsesvinduer og den lille terrase. Poolen og området omkring poolen var et dejligt afslappende og privat område som kun var delt med de 2-3 andre sæt gæster. Man skal passe godt på sin bil når man køre ind og ud af indkørslen da den er noget ujævn.
The house has a stunning view and nice and deep pool with comfy sun beds. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Casa Matta in the nearest village (Pilarciano) had really nice pizza’s and a good distance for nature walks and going to Florence. Also the coffee opposite of Casa Matta was really good.
Beautifull well kept Mansion with great accomodations in a wonderfull environment.

IMPORTANT: You will need a car to enjoy your stay here. We are in the countryside so a car is a must like in all the rural areas in Tuscany. The place is ideal for those who love to keep in touch with the nature. Also we produce local wine and olive oil in the grounds just around the property! The area is the best for trekking, long walks and outdoor sports! There are lot of trails for running for example. The panorama is amazing and featured by vineyards, olive groves and oak forests! From our property you will enjoy a 360° view above the the most green area of Tuscany! In the area also you'll find some wine farm for example La Matteria, which is an authentic small family farm where they produce Extra Virgin Olive oil, Wines and they grow apple trees too! Here you will find several options to have wine testing and other activities!
A stay at our mansion is a great opportunity not only to discover the countryside but also the art and the culture. In fact Florence city center is just 30 Km away!!! Also you can reach Florence city center catching a train from the small train station of Vicchio (There is almost one train per hour from the early morning to the evening). Vicchio is the nearest village. It's just 4 Km away from our villa. Here you'll find Supermarkets, groceries shops, bars, atm, petrol stations, pharmacies...
For Shopping Lover we are very close also to the Barberino Outlet Village which is one od the biggest luxury shopping mall in Italy! Bologna also is not far from here, about one hour driving, it could be a nice option for a full day trip!

- Barberino Outlet Village: less then 15 minutes driving
- Florence city center: 30 Km, about 40 minutes driving. By train is one hour but you will avoid the problem of parking in the city. Train is very convenient if you have to reach the main center area since the train leave you in the heart of the historical Florence at Santa Maria Novella train station.
- Bologna City Center: 1 hour and 20 minutes (90 Km)
- Incisa Val d'Arno(The Mall): 45 Km (40 Minutes driving)
- Greve In Chianti: 60 Km less then 1 hour driving
- San Gimignano: 90 Km - 1 hour and 10 minutes
- Lucca & Pisa: About 1 hour and 30 minutes (100 Km to Lucca)
- Rimini: 137 Km - 2 Hours driving.

My name is Paolo! I live in Florence which is where I was born! Me and my family we have a famous restaurant in the Florentine countryside, on a hill just outside the city! Also we have a big tuscan mansion close to Florence. The villa is divided into 5 apartments and a big ground with pool and private parking. We love this place and its history! In fact, many historians claim that the small tower of our property it was the real official Giotto's birthplace!!
