I was looking for the quiet place close to the beach in Italia. It seemed completely impossible but I found it. Nicola has let me his vacation house located just at the descent to the beach - not more than 20 meters. The house has three bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen - really comfortable and well furnished. The two bathrooms are very small but I soon get used to the shower in the middle of the bathroom. The house has a REALLY LARGE terrace with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and Stromboli - in the evening. Watching sunset was our favourite moment of the day. It is one of a several vacation houses there but I thought it an advantage because I did not feel desolated. I talked to some neighbours from Italy (there were mainly people from Italy there) and I learnt that they hire similar house for a whole month - I am not surprised :-) Since the district (Localita la Brace) is located approximately 2,5 kilometers from the village of Briatico, it is better to have a car. The first time we arrived there Nicola came to the train station to pick us up - thank you once more Nicola - it was important for us. He also took us for the first shopping. During the stay he asked us if everything was Ok. One more advantage is a bar with food and drinks - Baia di Zeus - located half-way to the beach (75 meters from the house?). Food in the bar is really Ok, people are friendly and helpful. At the same time it is not noisy. I loved my stay in Nicola's house and would love to return.

Casa dalla posizione fantastica. Vista incantevole e comodità assoluta per andare nella spiaggetta sottocasa e er visitare i dintorni a pochi minuti di auto (15 min per Tropea e Pizzo, 30 per Capo Vaticano). Nicola è un ospite gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Consigliato in tutti gli aspetti

Excellent place to vacation and experience Calabria. Close to many towns and a chance to live with great views and fresh air all day, every day. Wonderful location as it was private but able to travel to many locations. Our host was wonderful and welcoming. Very responsive to any requests. It was a great place to experience fresh meats, bread, and produce as well as excellent restaurants and wine. The local beach was very private and there were numerous other beaches within driving distance. If we revisit this area, we will surely request to stay here again! Thank you Nicola and family!
