The house is very clean, spacious. Views of mountains, fields, woods, and river. We loved tranquil and saw wild turkey, deer and cows / calves. Location is convenient to the middle section of the park and an easy drive. Private area. Sharon and the owners are going to update the description of the place and features as they continue to add/change things. We read through all the reviews and here is some info. that we found helpful so we knew. I believe owners/Sharon may have noted this now. They are in process of adding blinds to all the bedrooms. It's private and we get up early so not big issue. As noted in reviews the water is well water and may have sulfur odor. We brought our own drinking water. One huge bedroom downstairs and two very large upstairs. Off of the bedroom on right are two connecting rooms. On right one connecting room. Two don't have doors. We were fine with going through one room to other to go to rest room and with doors. Wood floors are so quiet!

This was a wonderful home to stay a few nights in. Easy to walk down to the river to explore or fish (close the pasture gates behind you.) Plus a little creek for kids to explore. A yard where you can play catch or kick the soccer ball. Plenty of room for so many people. Some of the bedrooms you reach by passing through another, as you would expect with a farmhouse built when this was and later expanded. Lots of balconies off of bedrooms or other rooms. Nearby you have Skyline Drive for overlooks and Luray Caverns, which I suppose is an underlook. A great stay.

The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of space, lots of character. Beautiful surroundings, right on the river. No neighbors other than the cows that came right up to the fence. Sharon was super responsive. You do need to bring your own water. We’d come back again.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful farm house with us. We meet in Luray every summer and have a family reunion. This place was perfect. Will definitely stay here again. The country setting is exactly what we needed to escape and enjoy the simple life.

Our group of 11, 5 adults and 6 children, very much enjoyed our stay here. The location allowed close access to the river for tubing, caverns and trails for biking. The farmhouse does have some adjoining rooms, but they are large and comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and were welcomed with breakfast for our first morning, which was very much appreciated. Our favorite part was watching the cows from the large back porch. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we would definitely return.
