My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at the romantic cabin. The cabin has a rustic feel but with many modern continences. The home is in a private and quiet neighborhood with access to a small but beautiful lake surrounded by immense natural beauty. The location is convenient with a short drive to the chain of lakes region and several parks with hiking and cycling trails. The lake is also situated to the crystal river and Red Mill. We made good use of the amenities during the stay. We kayaked at least once per day. The lake is relatively shallow and beginner friendly. I also fished and caught a number of decent bass from the pier and kayak. In the evenings we prepared some meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Furthermore we enjoyed watching a movie and a show or two after dinner. Overall, there is so much to recommend here. We are definitely planning to return within the next year or two. Kirk’s communication was clear, straightforward, and polite. 10/10

We had a fantastic stay! This was the cleanest AirBnb I’ve ever stayed at. We loved the solitude and enjoyed fishing (catch and release) from our kayaks. I would highly recommend Kirk’s place to anyone looking for a great cabin getaway!

My husband, 7-year-old and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at Kirk’s place. The property is beautiful — better than the photos even. The house has amazing light with huge windows and everything was quite clean and comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the dock in the evening and having coffee on the deck in the mornings, watching the wildlife. There are so many places to sit and hang out. It was a treat to be able to sit outside without being eaten alive by mosquitoes! The lake was a little weedy for swimming when we were there (to be expected in August), but my son still had fun wading in and splashing around. There’s also a really nice, large public beach for more swimming just minutes away. The house is secluded and private, but very close to the town, stores, other lakes and restaurants. I’d love to return in autumn sometime — bet it’s beautiful then too. I highly recommend the Romantic Cabin!

Had a wonderful long weekend at Kirk's place. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and comfortable. It sits on a lot that is beautifully landscaped and filled with trees- I saw a few deer and other critters about. The location is great as it's in a very quiet area but only a short drive away from grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The lake is small with flat water, perfect for exploring by SUP or kayak. True gem, one of my favorite stays on Airbnb.
