We were looking for somewhere that our two dogs would be safe, the garden was very secure and there was lots of space for them to run around. It was an ideal place to stay with very easy access to York and there was loads to do locally. The pub in Green Hammerton ( The Bay Horse) was very welcoming and dog friendly. A great stay, thankyou.

Great couple of days staying here. Gated garden area to let the dog run around, and nice welcome note for the dog, with added towel for wet paws! Everything I needed for a short work trip.

Excellent facilities. Well seculded, didn't see anyone whilst I was there. Perfect for solo or couple travellers that just need a basic kitchen, bathroom and bed. Ideal for dogs as there was easy access to the garden, no neighbours could be heard so the dogs didn't bark, decent wet room which you could use to rinse a muddy dog off if you needed to (thankfully I didn't but at least there's no shower or bath to wrangle them in). Perfect little getaway ideally situated to get to York or nearby towns of interest.

The living area/kitchen and bedroom were all in one space- very nicely furnished and decorated. The wet room is quite large however is in need of updating (in our opinion). - it is not to the same standard as the rest of the accommodation. It was a great base for us to visit relatives and our dog enjoyed the large enclosed garden. The A59 is a very busy road and a bit noisy at peak times . That said it was good stay and had everything we needed.
