Nothing fancy (but all the essentials) so exactly what we were needing, with some unexpected pleasures too! Extremely relaxing and quiet. Perfect location on lake shore and just steps to what you could need to find in town (like ice cream for desert after dinner). Lovely afternoons either paddling out to the island with Deborah and Joe’s freely available kayaks or listening to the folk music at the Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger festival another day. Not to mention the rodeo one evening…

The location was great for walking into town. Lake front property was a nice benefit. We enjoyed sipping coffee, looking at the lake in the mornings

This is a terrific location - right on the water and just steps into the town, where there are restaurants, a supermarket, and gas. I especially liked the fact that there were two porches, and that the sleeping spaces were separate enough to accommodate both an early riser and a late sleeper. As other reviews have noted, the staircase is challenging - even tighter/steeper than I anticipated - but after the first day I was used to it and it wasn't an issue. Deborah, our host, was kind and made us feel welcome.

Location location location. This wonderful hotel is right on the lake with a private beach and also a 5 minute walk into town. It comes with everything you need for a great vacation. - full l kitchen , outdoor gas bbq, beach toys/floats, fire pit, and more. The owners are very nice and responsive.

The place was everything advertised. I needed a solitary vacation break to recharge and be in a beautiful but quieter setting than some of the heavily visited areas in the region and do some serious biking. I loved the location, the facilities, the proximity to the nearby town, the park, and easy access to the lake. I greatly appreciated the privacy and it was quite family friendly. The living quarters were clean, comfortable, cool, and had everything I needed to prep my meals etc. with a local store 2 minutes away. Local biking was great. I will definitely factor the place into my 2023 vacation planning. I also thought it was a great value.
