The home was absolutely perfect! Nothing better than feeling like you are off the grid, but with all the luxuries. It was so nice to be able to explore around outside in the quiet beauty and then come back to house to relax with all the comforts of home. And those views tho! Highly recommend!

Hands down one of my favorite Airbnbs thus far. The .4 walk to place was fine. The walk back to car a bit strenuous but doable..The house...omg...spectacular! My friend from Anchorage said she has never seen such a view of Denali Mountain like the one from the home. It was soo quiet. Windows everywhere. We will definitely return. Either girls trip again or maybe we will be nice and bring the husbands. Such an honor to stay at her home. Thank you.

A cozy get away that I would love to visit again!

This house is in an incredible location. We visited in early March. With that said, if you go in the winter, you are unable to drive to the home. This is noted by the owner. I will say that if you have young children or elderly, getting to the home is not super simple. The walk is less than a mile but it is up and down a couple of hills that really take your breath away. Once you get to the home, it is absolutely gorgeous. Best view of the Alaskan Range. We even got a glimpse of the aurora borealis one night. Big windows in rooms are an amazing wake-up call. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Very relaxing and the town of Talkeetna was my favorite town of all of Alaska we visited. A lot is closed in winter though, such as the bakery. Highly recommend this house if you don’t mind the short hike. We also saw a moose on our walk to the car from the house! Sleds and other snow gear available by the owner. She was responsive and helpful when needed.

We really enjoyed our stay. In the winter it is a real Alaska adventure. We hiked in the snow about a 1/2 mile and met a Moose on the way. The views were absolutely stunning. The home decor was very nice and the views were absolutely stunning. I would like to visit again. Thanks for a great stay!
