We loved the stay!! The cottage was just as we hoped.. Jack and Henry were very sweet and got to meet a nice quail couple and some bunnies. We really appreciated the coffee, soda and water as well and condiments.. since we brought stuff to cook. The porch and fire pit were perfect. We very much appreciated that our kitty Babs was welcome.. she loved looking out the windows at the donkeys. We loved that we were so close to Solvang..just great!!

The Wine Country Cottage was exactly what my wife and I were looking for as a place to stay with our dog near Solvang. It was cozy with a beautiful view and a great location close to the city. We were lucky enough to be staying on a night with a SpaceX rocket launch, and we had a perfect view of the rocket soaring across the sky and got to hear (and feel!) the rumble a few moments later. It was the best view of a rocket launch we’d personally experienced. The host even left a printed note for us as a reminder about the launch’s schedule. The resident donkeys (Jack and Henry) on site are very cute. We had fun feeding them the complimentary carrots. We also got to enjoy the outdoor amenities such as grilling for dinner and enjoying the fire pit with coffee and a view in the morning. Would happily return to stay again.

Great secluded spot in the foothills above Buellton. Loved all the animals and beautiful surroundings! Erin was super helpful and responsive - gave great tips for local activities, including when to watch Space X rocket launches right over the property!!

My partner and I had an awesome experience. We got to explore all the cities close by and especially Solvang! Henry and Jack were awesome companions. My partner enjoyed feeding them every time we stepped out! Food around the area was fantastic. This place felt so nice and cozy with peaceful nature around the area! Would definitely come by around!

Erin place was such a lonely little cottage that was perfect for my husband and I. We only stood for one night but I have stood here for the weekend in the past. I enjoyed waking up and sitting on the porch drinking my coffee with the sounds of birds in the distance. Her place is very peaceful & private. I recommend her cottage to anyone who likes to feel like they are faraway but still close to eateries and wineries.
