We offer spectacular views, thrilling local adventures, culture, cool nights & memorable experiences all in a safe area. Our property is surrounded by lush rainforest-like conditions and still under 15 minutes from restaurants, pubs, churches, and supermarkets with an easy drive from San Juan, and under 1.5 hours to most airports. We are also 30 minutes from larger rivers, caves, historic sites, coffee plantations and under 1 hour from science sites, canyons, waterfalls, and a beach. Notes: *This tent sits in the regular camping area. THIS IS NOT a Secluded tent area. *Your tent has 1 full-size bed and 1 cot. You are welcome to bring another bed and more tent *There is no kitchen. You have to order meals or go out to eat at one of our many local restaurants. *The POOL we promote is the stream with a few kiddie pools, 2 small waterfalls, and a delightful and natural plunge pool for the adults. The trail to get to this area is beautifully rugged but doable for most hikers I know. **The bathroom is shared with the campers. The Space: Our Property sits on 6.2 acres at the end of a private road in a delightful mountain town with lovely neighbors that enjoy engaging with our guests. When you stay here the views in all directions make you feel as though your backyard is a huge valley full of mountain tops, a beautiful lake, rolling hills, lush jungle and/or beautiful green pastures. Most guests rave about the crisp clean air during the day, the clear star-filled skies at night, and even more so watching the enchanting mist grow from the valley throughout the night to then slowly disappear over the lake and between the thousand mountain tops and valleys every morning. Many guests comment about the seclusion, privacy, and safety that our property offers and the beautiful cool nights at this elevation. Another thing guests love is that we have local families that cook and deliver authentic Puerto Rican meals directly to your doorstep if requested. They do not offer you a menu, they basically offer you what he/she cooked for their own family that day. We offer several campfire areas to enjoy.

Un lugar hermoso, rodeado de naturaleza. Éste glamping ubica en el área común de camping, estarán acompañados de otros campistas. La vista es a las montañas; la vista al lago ubica en otro lugar. La caseta ubica en tierra/grama no sobre piso en cemento. Tuvimos buena compañía de otros campistas. El dueño se comunicó en todo momento.
amazing views! we camped out here and had a wonderful night under the stars. we got to chase some fireflies and had a little campfire. we did a rather technical hike down to an awesome swimming hole but my adventurelous 5 year old did it so wasn't too crazy.
Everything was perfect. The area is amazing. The tent was perfect. It had everything I needed. The nights there were incredible
exactly as described, make sure you bring lights because theirs no light at the campsite and bring a fan for the tent it gets hot and no breeze going around
My boyfriend and I stayed in two different glamping spots and one rustic room on the property and ended up staying 3 nights instead of one because we loved it so much. Guanica is an incredible little town, and a great jumping off spot for lots of cave exploration, rivers, and generally great outdoorsy adventures. Adam was extremely communicative and accommodated us staying “just one more day” twice. Loved this stay :)

Our neighborhood is a community of people coming together looking out for one another, and very happy to welcome all travelers. Many of the locals that you’ll meet don’t travel much, so it is just as exciting for them to meet you as it may be for you to meet them. Everyone I know is very giving, loving, genuine and humble. Even many of our city folk from Puerto Rico visit the mountains when they want to feel the kindness and warmth of yesteryear. I had a friend from Oregon stay here for a few days and it was great to hear him say, "so many people still wave at you when you drive by that I started waving at everyone even if they were not waving at me."
It’s an honor and a privilege for us to share this part of the Island with you.
-You will need to rent a car as there is no public transit to the mountains and no public transit when you are here. Once you book with us, the site will provide you with access to very clear written directions, GPS coordinates, and a google pin location.
-All of the roads are paved so any car is fine. You’ll find some potholes and some bruised roads after Hurricane Maria but you can drive around those areas slowly like we all do and be ok. We usually suggest renting from Dollar Car Rental (Verdanza Hotel Branch) or any other MAJOR car rental company.
-Once you are here, many guests take walks on the roads close to the home. There are several miles of nice paved roads with plenty of canopy from the sun to enjoy your walks in the area.

From a young age my mom brought my brothers and I to this beautiful island called Puerto Rico. I remember spending time with crazy cousins at the rivers, adventures in the lush mountain surroundings with my older brother and going fishing at the beach with our vociferous uncles. My fondest memories were sitting at the dinner table with our grandparents to hear delightful stories about how life used to be. In 2012 I was presented with the concept of using my logistics & real estate background hand in hand by owning and/or marketing amazing homes in Puerto Rico using Airbnb. Since then my team has grown to include my brother John and beautiful niece Katryel who both share my love and passion for the island and its delightful culture. At most of our properties you can order delicious authentic Puerto Rican meals cooked and delivered right to your home by our family & friends. We offer several eco-friendly adventure tours (fulfilled by local companies), or you can just relax and immerse yourself in the local culture while creating wonderful memories. We offer the ability to travel and explore the whole island using one of these homes as a base or several during your stay. Doing this will help you better experience our culture, and the islands’ delightful people. Our hope is that you fall in love with this enchanted island as much as we have. Once you complete your reservation, Katryel will send a bunch of information to your inbox that you will need for arrival and check-in. This information includes detailed directions with GPS coordinates, more information about your stay and what we call our Activity Link with lots of extras. The Activity Link will help you plan out several days in our area with local spots to enjoy! Upon arrival to Paradise, my brother John and I take over (mostly through text if you need anything). We, like many of you, love to travel, the outdoors, and love to learn about where people are from, their likes & dislikes, but mostly what made you choose Puerto Rico. Some of these properties are ours and several are owned by individuals (many elderly) that have trusted us to share their homes with the world using our management and marketing systems. We only work with people who also want you to explore and experience some of our rich and diverse culture. Since many of these owners are elderly and all the homes are in residential areas, I encourage you not to book with us if you are not lovely, clean, honest and respectable.
