We had beautiful time at Mzia’s house. She prepared us an amazing vegan dinner and breakfast. We talked until late, drank wine and laughed. Mzia is a very interesting person, she told us a lot about Georgia. It was a pleasure to spend time in her house.

Great place to stop over for taking nearby Uplistsikhe City Caves (which are absolutely worth a visit!) at your own pace. Akaki/Mzia is a remarkably warm person, ready to offer way more than I would ever have expected from a hostess. I slept very well in this house, almost 12 hours in a row; yet I should point out that I was lucky as far as the weather is concerned for I did not notice any AC for truly hot nights. Also, that you cannot flush down even the toilet paper (in obvious reasons in this area!) feels a little uncomfortable for someone who is used to toilets that can flush pretty much everything.

Mzia hat nicht nur ein wunderschönes georgisches Haus und einen beeindruckenden Garten, sondern ist auch eine besonders aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Ich habe mich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Dass sie fließend Deutsch und Englisch spricht, erleichtert die Kommunikation sehr. Ich habe von ihr viel über die georgische Geschichte undKultur erfahren. Da ihr Bruder ebenfalls gerade im Haus war, hatten wir ein paar schöne gemeinsame Stunden.

Amazing place to stay. Msia takes great care of the house and of her guests as well, soon you feel like home there. You will hardly get a better breakfast anywhere else. It is also possible to arrange with her homemade dinner which is definitelly better choice than to go to any of the local restaurants. There is beautiful garden and you can see life in an ordinary Georgian village. It is located in a walking distance to the famous site Uplistsikhe and there are also other places worth to visit around. We had nice discussions in the evenings on many different subjects which also made my stay very special. Best experience of Georgia ever :)
