This place is magical. I would give it 10 stars if I could! Our stay was comfortable with quite large rooms and beds with a clean and fully functional bathroom. The place is private and feels remote for that, "in the forest" experience. Our host, Eugenio made our stay very comfortable. Out of the many things unique about this place, the one that stands out the most is that, the host met us at the door to welcome us. I have never met my airbnb host before. This place is more than a place to stay. It is an experience with a local family who show you the local costa rican hospitality during your stay at their farm. The host is also an awesome cook by the way, and I would highly recommend you try it if you get a chance. The waterfall here is beautiful and private. Swimming in it after a hike is exhilarating! Some of us didn't have good shoes for hike and our hosts were very accommodating to set them up with boots for the muddy terrain. And walking sticks for all of us. That made our hike so much more enjoyable and safe in the rain. Our hosts were very informative about the local history, flora & fauna so conversations were fun and informational. They explained everything in English, as I am not a spanish speaker. This place offers both adventure and tranquility in nature. I hope you get a chance to experience this unique and wonderful place. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis mit der Seilbahn über den Fluss zu fahren. Eugenio und sein Vater sind wirklich sehr gute Gastgeber. Total freundlich und sympathisch, sie haben uns mit all unserem Gepäck geholfen und wir hatten gute Gespräche miteinander. Das Haus ist sehr schön mitten im grün gelegen. Aber und jetzt kommt das schreckliche. Das haus ist leider in direkter Sicht und hörverbindung mit der lauten Routa 32. Selbst in der Nacht dröhnen im Minutentakt Schwerlastwagen vorbei. Es ist als würde man mit offenem Fenster nehmen einem Flughafen schlafen. Wir sind nach der ersten Nacht frühzeitig abgereist. Wirklich sehr schade, den das Haus, die Umgebung und die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr nett. Die Wasserfall Tour konnten wir leider wegen unseren 2 kleinen Kindern nicht machen.

We had a wonderful stay with Eugenio. The cabin is located in the Rainforest with breathtaking views. The way you arrive is via zipline and a small hike up to the Cabin. I highly recommend you are prepared with proper hiking shoes and clothes. Eugenio prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast for us. We also did the hike through the mountain which was challenging, but worth it! The days prior to our arrival it had rained a good amount, therefore the waterfall was really full. If you are looking to live like a local and are up to getting a workout in and don't mind a little dirt, this will be an awesome and unforgettable experience!

Our stay at Eugenio 's farm was the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica! Communication with Eugenio was excellent. Arriving onto the property via cable care was such a fun and unique welcoming. We got settled in then went for a really cool night hike where the very knowledgeable Eugenio and his friend pointed out tons of cool animals and plants. The next day we went on an extraordinary hike to a stunning private waterfall on the property. Truly such an amazing experience to see that type of hidden beautiful nature with no one else around. We loved hanging out on the balcony watching the birds eat the fruit and non-stop hummingbirds stopping by. There's an awesome restaurant down the ways a bit that my friend and I went to often but Eugenio did cook us breakfast every day which was really nice. During our stay we took day trips to go white water rafting and to the chocolate factory vin Sarapiqui. We absolutely loved the 2 dogs on the farm, and of course the baby cow was such a delight 💕 It was Also cool to learn about all the fruits, vegetables, and plants on the property. We could have stayed there forever it was so tranquil. Someone wrote a review saying there wasn't hot water but there definitely is, you just have to turn the nozzle a certain way. No wifi though but this just helps to take you away from the outside world and into your own Costa Rican farm escape.
