Amazing host and very easy to find place! The entrance is from the main street. I parked right on the entrance (2 meters away from the door) - great location. Please, inform her that you parked your car on the street so she can arrange that you do not have to pay. She learnt that that day was my son's birthday - so organized the birthday cake!!! They will ask you to take off the shoes before you walk into the second floor, and give you slippers, but that makes sense, considering how clean the place is. They are just keeping it that way. The place is old looking (as you would expect a place right in the centre), but in good order and neat. There was noise coming out of the street, but it stopped before 11pm or 12pm, I think. We opted for the breakfast that was amazing! This place is definitely worth every single dime. Greatly recommended. Ah - yes - be aware that the host does not speak English, which was not an issue for me since I spoke some Russian. Again - great experience!

Medea's guesthouse is an amazing place with an incredible family. The room was bigger than I expected, clean, and quiet. I was studying remotely during my 10 day stay - there was never a lack of privacy when needed, and the wifi never had any issues. When I wasn't busy, the entire family were some of the most welcoming I have ever met in almost 10 years of using Airbnb! Don't miss out on staying here during your time in Kutaisi.

Im Prinzip managen die Eltern von Medea alles. Der Vater spricht englisch und organisierte für uns für 40 GEL einen Transfer vom Flughafen direkt zur Unterkunft. Vor Ort wurden wir freundlich mit Kaffee, Tee und Gebäck empfangen. Die Mutter spricht französisch und macht auf Wunsch typisch georgisches Frühstück für 30 GEL pro Person. Medea haben wir nur zwei Mal kurz gesehen. Das Zimmer ist klein und recht dunkel. Die Lage ist für Stadterkundungen und Ausflüge in die Umgebung perfekt. Leider ist es nachts sehr laut, da direkt unter dem Balkon die Straße liegt, auf der die ganze Nacht Autos und Motorräder mit quietschenden Reifen und jaulenden Motoren fahren. Ist anscheinend ein Sport hier in der Gegend, seine Fahrzeuge nachts derart zu quälen und Lärm zu machen. Sehr schade!

Die Unterkunft von Medea liegt zentral gelegen in der Altstadt von Kutaissi. Wir wurden netterweise für 40 Lari von ihrem Vater vom Flughafen abgeholt, generell haben uns ihre Eltern herzlich in Empfang genommen. Am nächsten Tag haben wir eine Tour mit ihrem Vater unternommen, der sehr bemüht war uns viel über die Gegend zu erzählen. Was uns überrascht hat, war, dass wir keinen eigenen Schlüssel für die Eingangstür erhalten haben und dementsprechend immer klingeln mussten und beim raus gehen darauf warten mussten, dass uns jemand die Tür aufsperrt. Zusätzlich konnte man die eigene Zimmertür nicht absperren. Grundsätzlich können wir die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, vielleicht sollte die Handhabung mit dem Schlüssel noch mal überdacht werden.
