The room itself was good but the way from the gate to the room was too dark and stinky (I guess it’s not the host’s fault). Unfortunately two days I stayed there the wifi didn’t work and the hot water switch turned off all the time so it was so hard to take shower smoothly 🥹 Though Dung tried her best to help me within her capacity, and the location is in a good spot of the city.

We found the room to be quite comfortable and the location right among the locals. Very nice.

Room a bit dismal and depressing. It was probably very nice 4 or 5 years ago. Everything was stained, the walls looked like on television when they drag a body from a scene, hairy stained fridge, dead cockroach. It's not a complete disaster, just needs to be better taken care of for 3x the price of a hostel. After being excessively harrassed by so many taxi scam artists at the airport, grab was quoting 25,000 but they were saying the minimum I would have to pay was 300,000! So I decided to walk over 4km in the sun from the airport to Du's place in the middle of the day. Being a bit hot and sweaty, I hung up my clothes to change and rest for a few minutes and charge my phone. Having only checked in two hours, Du was already asking me how soon I could check out tomorrow so her other guests could check in early(she probably didn't mean it that way, but it seemed to imply they were more important and it didn't make me feel very warm and fuzzy inside my first two hours in Vietnam.
