We had a fantastic time staying in the Ponderosa yurt! Very cozy, quaint, perfect for two people. The amenities provided on site really made this a fun and easy place to spend time. The pool was gorgeous with great sunset views. Tamara and Ramon were excellent hosts, very communicative, and gave us recommendations for activities in the area. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!

There is not a lot to say that hasn't been said by other reviewers. The Reverie Retreat is truly a hidden gem. This is not a hotel. This is similar to camping but with some nicer amenities (running water, compost toilet, amazing pool, semi-private tubs and cooking areas). If you've never camped in a tent before, this may not be for you. Bugs will come and go. Animals will be roaming around outside. This is normal and natural and part of what makes this experience so great. The summer months can be a bit brutal as the heat is up there and the bugs are plenty so if you can't handle that consider skipping Aug/Sept. Otherwise, BOOK A YURT. The Ponderosa Yurt is at the bottom of the hill, so make sure you're in good condition to make the walk with your stuff. It's worth it, though, as you get to be near the pond and have a bit more privacy. We loved all the fun signs everywhere that explained everything you needed to know, such as how to use the toilet, how animals behave, why you should cover this or that. It makes it much easier to get invested with these helpful signs. What we really loved was our names written on a sign at the entrance of our Yurt. A small but very meaningful gesture that goes a long way. We WILL come here again without hesitation.

This is a very unique stay and was a good experience overall. We went with two other couples so it was super fun grilling together, although it's quite a walk from our yurt to the Sunset Yurt, which had the best location and a large picnic table. The highlight of the trip was the Infinity Pool, offered gorgeous views and shelter from the heat. The yurt was super close to a hammock so we enjoyed some nice naps there. Tamara was very responsive to my plethora of questions, thank you!
