First thing's first: "No Refund" policies on AirBnB are unacceptable at best and predatory at worst. They want to take your money and give you nothing in return should you need to cancel your trip. I highly suggest *never, ever* booking a property without a reasonable cancellation policy, unless you're interested in having your money stolen by companies like Novasol. A few days after booking this apartment, something came up and I found out that I didn't actually need to spend the $550 it cost me to rent this place. I could have stayed in my destination for free. Too bad. Novasol doesn't care - they just want your money regardless of the circumstance, and regardless of whether your booking cost them another rental (hint: mine did not, it's November in Karlskrona). They refuse to communicate on the issue and stand behind their policy of taking your money no matter what. That being said, I would advise anyone looking at this listing to avoid Novasol at all costs. The property, StayHotel.se (where I believe you can book without Novasol as a greedy middleman) was pretty nice, however. The apartment was clean, the TV was okay, the bed was nice, the kitchen included the basics (everything two people could need, basically), and the bathroom was also fine. The space was small, but it was definitely enough. The location is actually really great - only a few steps away from the local theater, restaurants, and a grocery store. Karlskrona is small, but you are pretty much in the exact center of Centrum. We enjoyed our time. I would stay here again. The listing has at least one thing wrong - there is NO free parking for this location. Karlskrona Centrum has paid parking meters on every street. It's about $4 per day and you need to be wary of periods of no parking as a result of street sweeping. It should also be noted that there is no oven. Only two burners on the stove. Also, I think it's weird that there are two recliners in front of the TV instead of a couch. They are a poor interior design choice and we found them useless. Very last thing - because of the corporate nature of Novasol, no one ever contacted us about actually getting into the property. We had to take all of the initiative ourselves, and Novasol actually didn't have the correct number for the listing, so we were texing / calling an unresponsive number at first. I had to contact Novasol customer support just to get a hold of anyone. So that was pretty annoying.
