My girlfriend and I brought our puppy for an end-of-summer beach trip and we couldn’t have had a better experience with the house! The value was off the charts considering the location, pool, covered dock house, and hospitality. One night, we were eating dinner on the dock house and saw dolphins swim by. Melody was very knowledgeable and helpful and her dog Bella was very friendly to us and our dog. Highly recommend!

Thank you, Melody, for your Charleston-style hospitality from the moment we walked in the door. Melody’s dog, Bella, is sweet and charming as well! This location was perfect for us, we were able to come and go as we pleased, and Melody will interact with you as much as you interact with her. The pool is lovely at night with different colored lights, looking up at all the stars, all while listening to the reeds in the breeze. The floating dock is great at all times and if you like crabbing, Melody even has everything needed except you bring the bait! It’s a VERY peaceful and quiet neighborhood so I would not recommend this to anyone looking to “live their best life”. It’s a peaceful little sanctuary that offers restoration and just enough distance from the beach to avoid traffic while getting off the island. Will recommend to any solo travelers looking for peace and quiet!

We were apprehensive whether we had made a good choice because Melody was hard to communicate with before arrival. however when we arrived she greeted us warmly, and with wine and snacks. Her home is exactly as described and Melody provides nice additional touches such as amenities in the bathroom and light breakfast options. We ended each day relaxing out back, enjoying the spectacular sights and sounds.
