My kids and I were really looking forward to this campsite based on the beautiful pics shown. I don’t have anything bad to say about the host, as he was friendly. The site was scary for us to get to. I could hardly see the trail with the tall dead wheatgrass down the middle. They rubbed under my car the entire time. I thought it would get better but it got higher as we kept driving. You can’t turn around for a while. Hit a huge rock hidden in the weeds, which did a little damage under my car. I could barley even see the site because of how high the sunflowers and weeds got. I drive a Chevy Malibu. When we got to the site it was much smaller than shown and because of the extremely tall dead wheatgrass. (Was at my 5 year olds head), our tent wouldn’t have fit. Didn’t look like the pics nor was it super green. We ended up having to just eat the cost and turn around and drive over an hour back home.:( We were all super bummed along with few scratches to buff out from the drive.

I booked this property to car camp with my partner and our dog. When we arrived we saw a deer walking around my campsite. There were beautiful views in every direction. The instructions to get to the campsite were very clear and easy to follow. The host was very helpful and gave us lots of local recommendations. If you stay here, you have to check out the Glendale Reservoir. Of note, the grass was pretty high around the campsite (about waist high on me). I didn't feel comfortable letting my dog run around in it due to the risk of ticks (we were there in peak tick season). The campsite also had a rock fire circle, but the tall grass is pretty close and definitely poses a fire hazard. The fire department wasn't allowing fires while we were there. Theres about a 10' circle of area that is cleared of grass. Overall, if you just need a spot to park/pitch your tent this would definitely work for you.

We loved our stay at the campsite! It was gorgeous and secluded. It was pretty easy to get there, our vehicle made it well and there were signs to follow to get to the spot. During the summer it can get very hot and there is little shade, just be prepared or bring some sort of canopy! A very nice camping spot and I would definitely recommend.
