Super clean and modern apartment. Newly renovated. Very friendly hosts who live in the same house, but the apartment is completely separate so you have privacy. Nice quiet area, only a few minutes walk to the train stop, where as of 2023 you can get a free pass to take the train an unlimited amount (Abono Renfe Cercanías). This makes the location in charming Las Matas really perfect: a 25-minute train ride south and you're in the center of bustling Madrid, 25 minutes north you've got a choice of several towns and villages close to the mountains which is great for hiking and exploring. Can't recommend it enough.

I stayed here for a month in July/August 2023. The place was amazing and the hosts were very communicative. The location was great as well: the neighborhood was beautiful, private, and felt quite safe, which I appreciated as a solo traveler. The house was a five-minute walk from the train station, which made visiting Madrid easy. Personally, I loved the design and layout of the rooms. I especially enjoyed the many windows and natural light, which made the space bright and cheery. The air conditioning worked well and kept the house cool even in hot weather. I am very happy with my stay and will definitely come back if I ever visit Madrid again!

Great place for a price/quality stay. It's 40 minutes away from the center of Madrid by train. The hosts are lovely and communicative; they even invited me to their son's birthday celebration. The house has everything you need, including an air cleaner that automatically controls the air quality in the flat. I highly recommend it to everyone!
