I recently stayed at this Airbnb in Chandigarh with my wife for a weekend trip, and it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the host, Aman, and his wife. They are an incredibly responsive and friendly couple. The apartment was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. Although I had booked a room with only a bathroom, they graciously gave me access to the fully functional kitchen in the house as a complimentary gesture, which was very kind of them. The location of the house is fantastic. It's in a nice and quiet neighborhood surrounded by plenty of greenery, with convenience stores and plenty of eateries within walking distance. Aman's wife also had some excellent recommendations for local eateries. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb for its convenient location, responsive host, and comfortable accommodations. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Aman met us and showed us into the apartment and that's when it went downhill. He said the maid was coming later to finish off cleaning so we went out sightseeing. When we came back it was exactly the same and she has just left water outside. There was only one bottom sheet on the bed and the blanket for the top was covered in stains from bodily fluid. The floor was dusty still and when we opened the door to the kitchen there was just a very dirty fridge and all junk on the table. No utensils or crockery. In fact nothing on the list was there. We called Aman and asked him to come as we weren't happy. He said the kitchen wasn't ready yet and wasn't on the listing when we booked which is not true. He said we could have anything we wanted they were all available on request! We showed him the bedding and he brought a brand new sheet and another blanket in a bag. We should have checked it as it turned out to be also unclean when we opened it later on. We slept in our clothes in the end

Though I didn’t get the chance to meet Aman, he was incredibly kind and helpful. Even before our arrival, he accepted to serve as a reference for us in order to resolve an administrative issue we were facing as foreigners. He also gave us good advice regarding bus stations in Chandigarh. At first glance the room was fine, big and rather dark, exactly like in the photos. Then we noticed little things that didn’t correspond to the standards we are used to: no sheets on the bed (only blankets), flimsy pillows, poor lighting, we only got half a bucket of hot water before the water turned brown, and we never figured out how to use the tv. In fairness, I didn’t contact Aman about these issues. Since he wasn’t home, and since we were staying only one night, we made do and still got a good nights sleep, the neibourghood is very calm. After our departure Aman requested I leave a good review. Leaving honest reviews is essential for the Airbnb system to work for everyone.

The room is enormous, very very good value for the price. Clean and comfortable and in a very good location. I was only passing through and wish I had had time to stay longer and enjoy the house, garden, and wider area!
