Our experience at this property was unfortunately underwhelming. The online photos painted a far more appealing picture than the reality, especially given the price point. The cleanliness was substandard with trash found outside in several areas, detracting from our overall comfort. The master bedroom uses a portable air conditioner which was what we call "ghetto rigged" and even the rigging of that was broken due it it just being taped - so the nights were quite uncomfortable. The outdoor area was notably neglected, with hazardous deck conditions due to loose and protruding nails. Inside, the toilet fixtures were in poor condition, with a handle breaking off during our stay - an inconvenience that highlighted a need for significant updating. The boat cage area was also unappealing with trash and debris. We encourage potential guests to bear these issues in mind and hope the host addresses these concerns for a better guest experience moving forward.

This was a nice house that slept our large family comfortably with great river access and nice amenities.

This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a family vacation. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two kitchens, 4 full sized refrigerators and 2 laundry rooms. We could have spent the entire quarantine comfortably in this house without ever having to leave. If you do have to leave, there are restaurants, grocery stores and shopping just blocks away. We spent a lot of time on the dock down on the river. The host provides 3 kayaks (2 doubles and a single) We brought our own tubes, tied them up to the dock and relaxed the weekend away. The deck is multi-leveled. My daughter did yoga every morning on one deck, while my grandchildren ran and played on the long strip which in a wonderful spot where you can watch the sunset, the other kids ate breakfast on two different decks (one with a picnic bench and another table, we just used our own chairs) My husband and I sat on the balcony of the master bedroom and just enjoyed seeing all the kids and grandsons enjoying themselves. Highly recommended! I cannot say enough good things about this spot.

The location is great for all things Gruene and New Braunfels. There is a ton of space for a big group and the place was very neat and clean. Fabulous outdoor space.
