Awful experience! There was a thick layer of dust and grime all over the apartment, ants in the kitchen, the refrigerator had dirt in every compartment, and the exterior was sticky and coated in stains. The view was obscured by tons of salt and sea water on the glass. It appeared as if the place hadn't been cleaned in months. When we complained about the dirt, and windows that didn’t shut, Greg raised his voice at us, and told us our concerns were unwarranted - "For f***’s sake” “Where are you from, the Bronx?!” and was incredulous when we said the place was very unclean. Laura, unsympathetic to how filthy the accommodations were, told us "we could leave at any time." Two of our family members had the flu when we arrived, so finding other accommodations at the last minute became untenable and cost-prohibitive -- so we were forced to stay. Needless to say, this is NOT a "luxury" apartment. Unfortunately, the managers do not clean it properly, and have not learned how to be good hosts.

The view from the apartment is great and the location in this very small town is good. It is just a few blocks to the beach/local eateries. Some instructions (inside the unit) would have been helpful, including how to access the beach area/pathway from the complex without walking the street. However, renters should be aware that this is by no means a "luxury" apartment as listed. It is very much an ECONOMY unit that needs updating. The bathrooms are in need of a remodel (old showers with mold) and the carpet needs to be replaced. There were window coverings on bedrooms that were plastic and had the appearance of cracked glass. We arrived late into the evening for a three-night stay but immediately realized the unit did not suit our needs so checked out very early the next morning. There was a foul odor coming from the floor drains in the master bathroom when the shower was running (lingering afterwards). Three of our family members felt sick from the smell. We were glad to leave.

Great host! Laura was available for us whenever we needed to ask her questions! Ocean view was spectacular! Highly recommend for families!
