perfect stay
Just what we needed as a base for a couple of nights for a family funeral. Spotlessly clean, plenty of comfy beds and a good bath/shower. Some really thoughtful touches, including a very kind sympathy card and chocolates, as well as some welcome basic provisions, including milk, cereal and snacks. The area is basically residential, but the nearby Coop was handy, and it was in a convenient location for reaching all the places we needed to go. TOny's communication was excellent - almost got the answers before I'd finished asking the questions!
Down for a wedding just outside of Chelmsford so location great for us. Comms were excellent, house comfortable and clean and worked well for 8 people with no issues at all. Would recommend.

The Avenues is in a prime location, walking distance to the town centre with lots to do including ice skating, cinema, restaurants, bars plus mainline train to London.
There ares some beautiful parks locally and Chelmsford Cathedral is beautiful.
Chelmsford High Street is great for shopping and the Bond Street is well worth a visit.
Lots of parking on driveway plus no restrictions on road outside
