We visited Bordeaux for the Irish rugby match and opted to stay in a peaceful location. This property was absolutely perfect for our needs; parents, adult children and a girlfriend in tow. No detail was overlooked in the property and we could have easily moved in and stayed there permanently! Ben and the team do a first-class job, low key yet super attentive. Very highly recommended.

Stunning home, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean...we were amazed. The surrounding vineyard is gorgeous and very peaceful. An added bonus was the cold and very clean pool during a hot week, as well as the air conditioning on the second floor. They provided a crib and high chair for our young child, which was great. Our only comment is that the communication was fantastic upfront, then fell off completely for the last 2 days of our stay. The host were otherwise very attentive, warm and welcoming.

La Fleur de Bouard is beautiful, both the house and the winery attached. It is nice and quiet so even the restaurant next door is not a problem. The house is beautiful also, it comes fully equipped. It has been beautifully renovated and the staff were very helpful. The wine tour was also fantastic, I would definitely recommend going and doing it for yourself, to see the conical vats that hang from the ceiling. I think the checkout and checkin times are a bit harsh. 4pm is very late to check-in and 10am is very early to check-out. It surely doesn’t take 6 hours to clean. The pool has a lot of loose tiles around the edge, so is not suitable for the young or elderly as it is easy to lose your balance on them. Also the outdoor dining table has only 1 chair that isn’t broken in some way. The middle bedroom does not have air conditioning, which in the heat is hard to sleep. All in all we had a wonderful time, with just a couple of improvements that could have been made. Thanks.
