John's place is so wonderful I have extended my stay! It has everything I need.. . Warm, impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable. The location is perfect. Close to the I 90, a convient store across the street, great resturant down the road, library, gas station all nearby. Private setting surrounded by beautiful Nature! Birds eating berries in the tree outside, deer roaming through the property, squirrels frolicking in the trees, ample windows to view it all! GREAT kitchen for food preparation :) I would definately reccomend this place and come to stay again when back in NE Ohio. John is a very hospitable host.

Kirtland is a quiet but convenient place to stay when visiting this area. John has been very considerate of guests comfort and safety. He communicates immediately and the rooms are spacious. He is open to suggestions, and added an amenity I suggested the same day. Kitchen and laundry are also well appointed, if you need them. I highly recommend a stay here, and will return when I am in the area again.

I stayed at John's for two months while working in the area. It was my first time with airbnb but won't be my last. It was GREAT for a long-term stay. John's lifestyle and the way he treats hosting as a business makes all the difference. He has very few rules, provides ample fridge and freezer space (I was making three meals a day there and eating breakfast and dinner there every day), and defers to his guests. I never felt like I was intruding or infringing on his life despite spending hours per day in the kitchen; I wasn't in his way or vice versa. John was super-accommodating about small requests and jumped right on them. By design, the division of space and ample privacy--guests have the entire upstairs bedrooms and bath, with free and full kitchen access. The house and guest accommodations are not fancy; John and the design/layout of the house and hosting situation are where the value is. It'd be hard to find a better host or housing situation for my needs. Highly recommended.
