Overall a great stay! Missing some amenities and comforts you’d expect, based on the price point. There were no paper towels, no bath mats, very thin and scratchy bath towels, and no cable or streaming services for television watching. In the positive column, there were hotel amenities to enjoy- restaurant, beautiful gardens, gym with steam room and sauna and a lovely bar!

We stayed in a residence apartment at the Montenotte. We loved every minute of our stay. The view of Cork is breathtaking, the garden is spectacular, and the hotel is lovely and formal with professional, polite staff. We will stay here again.

Not a good value. Very plain room with no real view. The staff at the hotel’s restaurant were unfriendly and did not appear to want to serve guests from the Residence apartments, and menu pricing was obscure. Would not recommend.

Amazing stay - really enjoyed it even in this time of virtual lockdown. The drinks on the terrace with a heater as we watched the moon set over Cork was quite incredible in particular

Had a lovely stay with some friends here. The access to the hotel facilities and staff made for a really wonderful stay. Our apartment had everything we needed and could easily stroll in and explore the city or take it all in from the hotel restaurant bar where there are some of the best views of Cork city.
