We had a wonderful stay at Ivan's Villa Carolina. It's a beautiful restored house filled with art and treasures. We were well taken are of by the staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable and at home in this fabulous city. This staff in fact should be commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. They helped make a birthday for one of the travelers so special and memorable. The pool is in a lovely landscaped area in the back of the house. And thank you Chef Ivan for having delivered an amazing vegan birthday. We had hoped to be able to be able to meet up at the Chef's restaurant El Carbon but unfortunately ran out of time with so much to see and experience in Havana. Thank you Diana, Alex and Raul and the kitchen staff for making our time so special.

We rented the property in full with 5 bedrooms for up to 9 guests. We were missing a room and an stranger guest was staying in that room we paid for and forced me to sleep with one of my friends. Also the shared house spaces were shared with this guest whom we didn't know. On the other hand, service by the host and staff was great and helpful house very clean and beautiful it was just that double booked room which messed up our stay and plans. I do recommend the property but double check beforehand.

We absolutely loved our stay. Elsa was our host and she was amazing! We enjoyed the entire staff. They were very helpful and made our stay amazing. We will be returning and staying at Ivan’s. I highly recommend this home.

I purposely wanted to stay away from the city and have a pool to relax in at the end of a long day and Ivan's place provided exactly that. It is ~ 20 min from city center and we took La Nave (Cuba's Uber) or Taxi to and from the house to any of our destinations. Taxi cost 10-15 USD each way. The staff is excellent. They are accommodating, helpful and ready to assist with all your needs. They are welcoming. The house is clean, the pool is warm even for late night plunges, breakfast is plentiful and fresh. The house and the neighborhood feels very safe at any time of the day. Al Cabon is a MUST
