I have to say that was a great luck to be able to stay at Alex and Paula place. It is a fantastic setting, with a great eco-design and landscape. The beautiful pool with a fantastic sunrise to check the Outside right wave, and the hundreds of fishing boats heading in and out, the view from the living room to the open ocean, and all the feeling you get in the house. You have a homefeeling in all the design, furniture and personal items in the house, plus the hospitality of Ipa, which is always helpful and available. You even get your own pets, as they wonder around. At night you can feel the forest with all the fantastic sounds, but bring earplugs because there are some early night roosters singing. The village is a short ride away, and the surrounding also leave you with some options during the day. The kitchen is fully equiped and we do recommend to take a slow breakfast in the varanda. It was a privilege to spend 9 days at this magical spot

We had a very relaxing time at the bamboo house. The house is well situated on the hill above Gerupuk with beautiful views and a great sea breeze. The house is very comfortable & fans are more than enough to keep cool. Ipa the house manager and Antok were very helpful & all arrangements for airport transfers, scooter hire and surfing lessons went smoothly via whats app. The village is lovely, the local food is great & the people are very friendly. The two very talkative cats were a delight, as were Bobby the dog who joined us for parts of our walks and the gekko who came out every evening. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

This place is a gem, the house is beautiful and the view breathtaking! We had everything we needed and the house was very clean! The housekeeper is very friendly and helpful. The place is a bit away from the village and the road is a bit rough. But it is definitely worth it and if we ever going to be in Lombok again, that’s the place we wanna come back for sure! Thanks for everything Alex and Paula!

This place far exceeded our expectations! It’s a beautifully designed home with a stunning view of the bay. Ipa, the house manager, took great care of us—helping us do laundry and even getting us fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. The hosts arranged for mopeds to be ready on our arrival which helped us get around Gerupuk and South Lombok. (The road to the house is quite tough so would only recommend mopeds if you have experience.) It was also great hanging out with Bobby the dog and the cats! We also want to add that the hosts were very flexibly and understanding when we had to arrive after our check in date because of ferry cancellations. We really appreciated that.
