The property sits high on the bluff above the Langdale Ferry Terminal, and is nestled among mature gardens and trees affording privacy and spectacular views from every room. The accommodation is the top level of a large spacious home designed to capture the magnificence of Howe Sound. The Sunshine Coast Highway is close by to whisk you along the spectacular coast line. It is a 5 minute drive from the ferry. The architecturly, 70's designed home is high up on the bluff above Howe Sound. Wide stone steps lead up to your private front door. Rooms have floor to ceiling glass and sliding doors that open onto a balcony area. 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. large balcony area with stunning views brand new Restwell mattresses brand new quality bedding and linens A fan in each room. A three piece bathroom and a three piece shower room. A well-equipped kitchen. A large dining room seats 8. A patio with seating for 6. The spacious 'view' living room has floor to ceiling walls of glass. Plenty of comfortable seating to relax and unwind or play a few games. A wood burning fireplace, in the living room for winter use.

Anita’s place had absolutely stunning views and was so close to the ferry terminal and a short drive into Gibsons for great restaurants and shops. It was so quiet and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable and the retro decor just worked.

Breathtaking views, spacious and comfortable. Well set up with indoor and outdoor space for a group. Good wifi if you need to get some work done. Host was very friendly and helpful. Short drive to the beach, Gibson's town, and the ferry.

Beautiful and spacious home next to the water and minutes from the ferry. Very detailed instructions and great communication. Near to Soames Beach. Would book again!

Overall the stay was good, the beds clean and comfortable, the living space is nice with good views, and the host responsive. The host does not supply propane for the barbecue so be prepared for the tanks to be completely empty. Getting them filled in Gibsons in inconvenient given the availability and closing times. Their quoted "honor system" to fill tanks does not work. Many dishes needed to be rewashed from the cupboards and odly there is no ventilation for the stove top. The title at the time of booking stated it was a full home but be aware there are tenants. Being on a hill provides for nice views but be aware there is nothing in walking distance.

10 Minutes to Gibsons Landing and Gibsons shopping areas
15 minutes to Robert's Creek
20 minutes to Davis Bay
25 minutes to Sechelt
45 minutes to Pender Harbour
There is a bus service that connects all the communities to the Langdale ferry terminal.

Strongly suggest you stop at the Visitor Information in Gibsons Landing, 417 Marine Dr, Gibsons, BC V0N 1V0, where they are exceptionally helpful and will provide you with up to date and complimentary information and maps for hiking trails, water activities, local Arts and Cultural events and a lot of good local information.

I am well travelled and have visited many beautiful countries and communities across the world. I speak Mandarin (Oral), English(Oral & Written), Hindi (Oral & Written) quite fluently. My Russian is a rather rusty even though 25 years ago I was fluent - today I may be able get by in a jam. We moved to Vancouver back in the year 2000 from Beijing, China and discovered heaven on earth and made Vancouver our home. I love watching movies, listening to all sorts of music, reading, walking and working! I have absolutely no work/life balance. Life is work and work is life with great friends and tons of fun. No balance required. I enjoy what I do and feel privileged to live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. There is nothing I can't live without. Put me anywhere and I will survive. However, I do enjoy my creature comforts whenever and where ever I can have them. I am rather easy going and straight forward.
