Very convenient location near the Luzern train station, boat landings, and a quick 10 - 15 min walk to the historic center. Check-in was really easy, super friendly front desk staff. We stayed in apartment 1, very spacious, nicely renovated, well equipped kitchen, and spotlessly clean. It’s an easy walk from the hotel central as well. There isn’t much of a view from our unit (although we didn’t mind) and you can hear street noise near the train station, but with the fans provided we slept just fine. Definitely recommend.

The place is drop dead gorgeous, albeit a bit noisy. The elevator was so tiny, that we couldn’t even fit our buggy, we barely fit our luggage. Small nits to pick: Refrigerator doors were hard to open. On the bright side, we were given multiple electric fans and tips how to stay cold as the temperatures were scorching hot. Coffee machine was great, and pods were abundant. Overall it’s a great place to stay, if don’t mind taking stairs and sleeping with windows closed.

This spot was the perfect location for a family with young adults. EVERYTHING is within walking distance - the train, the market, the Chapel Bridge, the Old Town. The small park across the street even had a lovely ´flea market’ on Saturday. Although we had a car, we kept it parked the entire time. And, there was no noise pollution even though we were located directly across from the train station. There is also an amazing breeze that flows through the space, even in mid July. As a family of color, we all felt safe the entire time. People are friendly, but they want to see you at least try to speak their language (Swiss German). However, just about everyone speaks some English. The staff at Hotel Central were all very kind and accommodating. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. If there is something needed, the train station has a full shopping mall inside. The only thing to note is that the one full bathroom is an en-suite. Great place overall!!!
