We cannot say enough good things about Greta and Erik and their beautiful Blue Dune Cottage. The property is one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at (my fiancé and I keep referring to it as our dream home!) The photos do not do it justice; the view, the furnishings, layout and thoughtful decor made us feel right at home. Everything was extremely clean and cozy. Greta and Erik thought of every little detail — each bathroom even had a supply of toiletries in case you forgot something, which we found to be a very thoughtful detail. From start to finish, Greta was extremely helpful and responsive, definitely going the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed — they have set the bar high for any future Airbnb hosts! Our only regret was that we didn’t book a longer stay, but we will certainly be back :)

This was my second time staying at this Airbnb and my wife and I can’t say enough good things about it! The perfect getaway from Chicago. Greta was quick and clear with communication and the accommodations were second to none. The setting is quiet and in a very safe space by the lake! You can’t beat this tranquil setting to relax and unwind

Only good things to say about both Great And her home!! We had a perfect girls weekend at the blue dune cottage- the house was gorgeous, clean, cozy and so serene! Beautiful spot right on the lake! Great was also so great to communicate with! I would highly recommend!

The house is a great house. Views are amazing! Its in a lovely and quiet family neighborhood. Nice renovations, well appointed and very clean. It is stocked with everything you many need or that may have you forgotten to bring, which is super nice. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. Kitchen has what you need to cook and we did that often. Only suggestion would be a Wifi extender for the outside areas. We would not hesitate to return and hope to next summer.

We had a fantastic stay. The house matches the photos exactly, and the location on the water is incredible. Greta was a great host, and I would absolutely stay again in the future.
