Just as others have said, the key word to sum it all up would be 'rustic'. A stunningly beautiful location, where you feel like you're the only ones in the world. A great place to 'get away from it all'. There is no tv (not a bad thing), but there is great wifi. Miriam was accommodating and helpful in answering my queries. Thanks for an awesome experience.

Close to nature, beautiful surroundings. Miriam is very nice to talk to. There are many small things to fix in the house. Having them sorted could significantly improve the experience.

The Cookshop Cottage and farm was a great and unique experience. It encompasses amazing views of the surrounding natures. If you look at the fars, you capture the beauties of ocean, the green hills and snowy mountains. The cottage is tidy clean and beautiful. Miriam the host is very kind and helpful.

Charming rustic cottage in the middle of a busy sheep & beef and game bird (pheasant and guinea fowl) rearing farm. Great if you want to see farm animals up close and visit ancient Māori rock art sites in the nearby limestone areas. The only drawback was noise at night from cows and calves outside the cottage and deer in the adjacent paddock (bucks roaring all night), but our host arranged for the cattle to be moved during our stay, so that was much appreciated.
